RMR is our GAS insulated ring main unit used for applications on secondary distribution networks. RMR-Safety-Ring or Plus can be supplied in 10 different configurations suitable for most switching applications in 12/24 kV distribution networks. It is extendable and a direct equivalent to other concepts found in the market, which are also flexible, modular compact switchgear, these represent a complete solution for 12/24 kV secondary distribution networks. The RMR-Safety-Plus and RMR-Safety-Plus offer identical user interfaces and applications.
The RMR is a completely sealed system with a stainless steel tank containing all live parts and switching functions. A sealed steel tank with constant atmospheric conditions ensures a high level of reliability as well as personnel safety and a virtually maintenance-free system.
